England style Smokehouse at Fraser Hill Dinner at this Old England style The Smokehouse restaurant at Fraser Hill. Beautiful English design house with Christmas decorations, complete with fireplace and english antiques. Ordered a variety of dishes for sharing, the restaurant manager was so patient to explain to us how many of the dishes were prepared. Lamb shank was stewed for many hours before its served. Stew contains veggies and herbs and meat melts in the mouth. True to his words, this lamb shank is soft and tasty. Side dish was big chunky carrots that are juicy and soft. Mushroom is soft and yummy in the stew gravy. Lamb leg is slightly different from shank. Shank is the ankle part served with bone while leg is the calf part, served without bone. Calf meat is slightly harder but this dish is served medium well cooked. Meat is chewy, nice sauce to go with it, side dish veg is good too.
