Sausage is juicy and tender, veggies are fresh, sauces are just nice not too sweet or salty. Croissant is warm and crispy on the outside. Portion is quite big, though might not be filling for guys.  Balsamico Smoked Duck Mango Sauce croissant is yummy too, meat is slightly chewy.  Hot chocolate and Rose latte comes with cute drawings and very fragrant curry leaf tea biscuit. The biscuit is so nice that I bought a bottle home!  We also tried out the Brown Sugar Pea Flower Earl Grey Milk Tea, nice color for pictures, haha.  For desserts, we ordered their specialties below, all are soft & good, my favorite is the Earl Grey Dark Coco Soil, as there's a bit of crunch in there.  Ondeh Ondeh Cheese Creme Lava Soft Cake Lucotto Coffee Ice Cream with Oreo bits Overall, I think their croissants are really good, grea

England style Smokehouse

England style Smokehouse at Fraser Hill Dinner at this Old England style The Smokehouse restaurant at Fraser Hill. Beautiful English design house with Christmas decorations, complete with fireplace and english antiques.  Ordered a variety of dishes for sharing, the restaurant manager was so patient to explain to us how many of the dishes were prepared.  Lamb shank was stewed for many hours before its served. Stew contains veggies and herbs and meat melts in the mouth. True to his words, this lamb shank is soft and tasty. Side dish was big chunky carrots that are juicy and soft. Mushroom is soft and yummy in the stew gravy.  Lamb leg is slightly different from shank. Shank is the ankle part served with bone while leg is the calf part, served without bone. Calf meat is slightly harder but this dish is served medium well cooked. Meat is chewy, nice sauce to go with it, side dish veg is good too.  Mulligatawny is a soup with slight lamb base, added with some curry, Indian rice and topped w

Seafood at KL

Kai Seng Seafood at KL  佳城海鲜饭店 Came here for their famous BBQ sotong, true to its fame, the sotong is soft and delicious. Coupled with its special dipping sauce, it makes the sotong more tasty. Chicken is nice and tender, great to go with rice. Juicy and not dry.  Special kind of fried bun, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. Goes very well when dipped inside crab gravy.  Butter cream crab that we ordered, sauce is milky and nice though its quite little. Crab has been fried before being cooked in the butter cream, this makes the crab meat more fragrant.  Location: Jalan Kenanga, 50 Jalan Merlimau, Pudu, 55200 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
